Andrea feels privileged to help clients to live fulfilling lives. The development of self-compassion and exercise of courage are central themes in her client-focused work. Andrea has been awarded a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Her PhD thesis examined Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and shame. Andrea engages with warmth and sensitivity, while encouraging self-examination, self-acceptance, and growth.

Andrea is not presently able to take on new clients for individual treatment, and she does not have a wait list, however she is offering limited capacity group therapy in 2024 specifically tailored to clients navigating OCD.
The sessions will be guided by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy featuring Exposure and Response Prevention.

Location
Andrea is located at 23 Queensberry Street, Carlton. The number 1, 3, 5, 6, 86 and 96 tram stops are approximately 10 minutes walk away.
Fees
Andrea’s fee is $225 per fifty-minute session. Although you do not require a referral to see Andrea, a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP may entitle you to Medicare rebates of $141.85 for ten sessions within twelve months. Your GP will be able to assess your eligibility for the Mental Health Care Plan. The full fee of $225 is processed in session and the rebate of $141.85 is credited to your nominated bank account by Medicare.
Private health rebates may also be available, depending on your level of cover.
